Because you're worth it!


Hey Reader, your work is valuable.

Unfortunately, I find many people in business don't put the appropriate value on their work.

Too many entrepreneurs have battle scars from the early days of trying to win whatever business they could and saving every dollar they could.

Then, when they are successful, they have a tough time giving up those old scarcity-minded habits.

They hold on to bad clients and waste a ton of time keeping them happy.

They scrutinize every expense, thinking that saving 120 dollars is meaningful for the business.

In my group coaching session last week, we ran through a case study called Drowning in Discounts.

The situation outlined a growing MSP in Madison, WI, whose owner struggled to raise rates for clients.

Steve assumed raising rates would mean losing clients. He wasn't accounting for the time he and the team were spending, and if the clients were profitable.

I explained the actions the team took to correct their circumstance, and while they did lose clients, they lost a few who were not great clients

AND, they made up all that revenue and more with the adjustments made to contracts.

Don't apply your scarcity mindset to your clients' budgets. You're creating artificial restrictions that minimize the value you provide.

Raise your rates, you're worth it! ๐Ÿ˜‰
